EARLY ACCESS
In-app notifications let you know when something that matters to you happens on the platform, such as an export finishing, a request being approved or a product you subscribe to receiving new data. Notifications appear in the notification bell on the navigation bar, so you can see what has changed without leaving the platform.
In-app notifications are available on request. Please contact your Harbr Account Manager if you are interested in setting up this feature.
In-app notification preferences only apply to in-app notifications. They do not change which email notifications you receive.
View your Notifications

Click the notification bell on the navigation bar. An indicator on the bell shows when you have unread notifications.

Your notifications are listed, newest first. You are shown your 50 most recent notifications.

Click a notification to go to the relevant place on the platform, such as the export, product or asset it relates to.
Notifications are only ever about you and the things you are involved in.
Dismiss or Mute Notifications

Dismiss a notification to remove it from your list. Dismissed notifications stay dismissed, including after you sign out and back in.

Dismiss all to clear every notification from your list at once, rather than dismissing each one individually.

Mute a notification to dismiss it and switch off its whole category, so you no longer receive notifications of that type. You can switch the category back on at any time from your notification preferences.
Manage your Notification Preferences
All notification categories are switched on by default. To choose which notifications you receive:

Click your User icon on the navigation bar.

Go to the Notifications tab.

Switch each category on or off.

You are given access to a product through a subscription, or your access ends. This includes subscriptions held by your whole Organization. |

An asset or product is shared with you or with your Organization, and you can use or manage it. |

Product updates |
A product you created is released, is edited by someone else, or has its data refreshed. |
|
Products you subscribe to |
A product you subscribe to receives new data. |
|
Asset updates |
An asset you created is ready for release, is released, or fails to update. |
|
People you invite |
Someone you invited completes their registration. |
|
Your account |
Your roles are changed by someone else. |
|
Task runs that fail |
A task you own or collaborate on fails. |
|
Task runs that finish successfully |
A task you own or collaborate on finishes successfully. |
You are not notified when you edit your own product or change your own roles.
